Prepare the Umbrella before It Rains : understand the triggers of
diabetes
|
For generations, diabetes has been a silent enemy
for its attack has no warning. Approximately 10% of the United States
citizens have type 1 diabetes and 90% have type 2 diabetes. People
with diabetes do not know if they already have one. They may live
years without sensing the disease and later they know after their
condition is so much worse. Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes actually have
some early symptoms, but they are not obvious. Therefore many diabetic
people accidentally ignore those symptoms. However, if the symptoms
already occur in a person, then some damages have happened in his
/ her body.
Diabetes is a very unfriendly disease. Once you have it, you have
to change your whole lifestyle to maintain as healthy as you can and
to support your longevity. It can't be totally cured, but can be isolated
for not getting worse.
Neglected diabetes can lead to many complication diseases such as
heart diseases, hypertension, high cholesterol levels, kidney failure,
impotence, blindness, etc.. The best way to prevent diabetes is to
have a routine blood check, once or twice annually, and live a healthy
lifestyle.
what
causes diabetes?
In the most recent research, scientists have some progress in finding
how is diabetes caused. They are quite sure that the main cause of
diabetes is the abnormal nerve system, but this finding still needs
time to be concluded.
However, the trigger factors of how is diabetes caused are important
as prevention to diabetes disease :
1. Less sleeping hours
A healthy sleeping takes eight to ten hours a day. Less sleeping hours
makes your body have insufficient rest and later affects its ability
in generating carbohydrate into blood sugar (glucose) which is a pre-diabetic
sign.
2. Healthy Sleeping Hour
Best is to sleep from 9 pm to 6 or 7 am. Why? Because our body strengthens
its immune system on 9 pm - 11 pm, liver de-toxin process on 11 pm
- 1 am, and digestive de-toxin process until 7 am. Missed sleep in
this schedule affects the body process in generating poisons out from
the body and leads to diabetes.
3. Less Exercise
Exercise has both physical and mental benefits for human. Exercise
provides more oxygen and nutrients in blood, and also improves the
blood circulation which helps to control the blood sugar (glucose)
in bloodstream. Exercise is very good for diabetic patients because
it triggers the muscles to absorb more glucose, so there will be less
glucose in bloodstream to be processed by the limited insulin. In
exercising, the body releases a chemical substance named Serotonin
which is functioning to recover mood and reduce stress.
4. Consume too much sugar and carbohydrate
Beverages with high sugar content, such as soda, juices, artificial
sugars, and food with high carbohydrate are not good for health. Both
sugar and carbohydrate are easily generated into blood sugar (glucose)
in bloodstream. Too much of them can certainly increase your blood
sugar level and also decrease the amount of Chromium, the mineral
which helps to enhance the work of insulin.
5. Long-term stress and chest pain
In stress condition, the body releases a chemical substance that damages
the body itself. Therefore stress may lead to pains in several areas
of the body, mostly chest. Continuing the stress mood will destroy
your health.
6. Unhealthy eating lifestyle
Consume anything instant or processed food will harm your health because
this kind of food has lack of healthy nutrients and contains chemical
poisons. Best is to cook your food, and consume more fruits and vegetables
rather than red meat and fatty foods. You may add in supplements,
such as Omega3, vitamin and minerals.
7. The lack of antioxidant
As the age increases, the body is less effective in producing its
own antioxidant. Beside for anti-aging, antioxidant is needed by cells
to do their daily activities. Drink antioxidant supplements or green
tea to boost your antioxidant level.
8. Sufficient water
Water is crucial in human life, not only for preventing dehydration,
but also to wash away toxins in the body. Do not drink liters of water
at once, it can damage your kidney. Best is to drink small amounts
frequently.

you will understand that they are talking about an unhealthy lifestyle
